the Independent Catholic Community of Saint Anne is a religious nonprofit organization committed to the charitable works of mercy expressed through the lens and theology of independent Catholic life. We are progressive in that we engage faith and theology from a post-modern approach to pastoral praxis, which means we are willing to question tradition, accept human diversity with a strong emphasis on social justice of the poor, marginalized and oppressed. As a faith-based organization we are grounded in our catholic identity whereby we hold tradition in reflective tension and confess our part in the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church celebrating the seven sacraments of our faith. Because of our faith we are called to live and carry out the corporal and spiritual works of mercy as a missional people through community and public assistance programs, pastoral counseling, sacramental ministry, charitable works that are religious, educational, and awareness of healthy mental and spiritual health.
